Mr. Ali Golchin, Esq. is an experienced immigration attorney. He is a member in good standing of the California Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and The Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association since 1994. He is the president of the law firm of Golchin and Associates, A Professional Law Corporation that handles immigration law matters. San Diego Immigration Law Center handle a variety of cases from litigation deportation to work and family visas and naturalization.
Since early 1980's, Mr. Golchin has been involved with the legal issues relating to the immigrant community and the immigrants. In 1991, Mr. Golchin became authorized to appear before the Board of Immigration Appeals, Office of the Immigration Judge, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (currently DHS). Since 1991, Mr. Golchin has represented over 6000 court (litigated) and non-court related cases. One such case handled by Mr. Golchin is a published decision in the Matter of Cervantes. Mr. Golchin brings a unique prospective to his imiigration law firm. In 1980, Mr. Golchin himself was in Deportation proceedings and successfully defended himself before the immigration courts. From 1992-2001, Mr. Golchin served as the past director of two San Diego non-profit immigration advocacy organizations assisting indigent and low income immigrants. Together with a Catholic nun, he co-founded an immigration advocacy project in San Diego. He was a consultant and trainer for Survivors of the Torture International (SOTI ) on documentation and presentation of evidence of torture in courts.
